Download the CLI for macOS, Linux, or Windows. Keep the destination tool installed and your project files ready, then list your sessions.

Replace SESSION_ID with a session from the list. Review the dry run, then remove --dry-run to continue. Your original session stays in place.

Good to know

A few quick answers.

Will everything transfer exactly?

The destination may not support every part of the source session. Moirai carries over the context it can represent and reports compatibility warnings. A converted session is a new session, not an exact copy of a running agent.

Does it move my code too?

No. Prepare the project files on the destination machine separately. Moirai transfers session history; it does not replace Git or move your entire project.

Does my session get uploaded?

Local discovery, conversion, and archives work on your machine without an account or upload. Optional cloud services are separate and currently run as a restricted pilot.

Does it work with ordinary chats?

Yes. Moirai can also import supported plain chat formats and create portable archives. See the project documentation for formats and setup.
